Overview

DreamzTech partnered with an educational publisher to modernize a legacy Flash-based e-learning game into a fully responsive HTML5 and CSS3 application. Designed for children in schools and educational institutions, the Sen Assist Educational App blends storytelling and gameplay to create an interactive learning experience across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.

Challenges

  • The original application was built in Adobe Flash, limiting accessibility to desktop-only environments and browsers with Flash support.

  • Each game begins with a visually rich narrative using sprite-based animation, audio narration, and supporting text to tell stories like Fairy Tales and Early Shakespeare.

  • After the story, students engage in progressively challenging quiz games based on the content they’ve just experienced. Questions increase in complexity across levels, with smart retry logic and the ability to jump levels.

  • All visual movements and actions are driven through sprite animations, enhancing interactivity while maintaining performance.
